Hunter Safety Training

Hunting is a valued part of our local culture, but our Oregon hunting safety course isn’t just for students who hunt. The program also teaches important outdoor skills and science exploration.

Students learn from trained and approved instructors:
  • Firearm safety
  • Hunter responsibility and ethics
  • The science behind firearms and ballistics
  • Wildlife identification, game care, survival and first aid skills
  • Proper shooting and hunting techniques
  • Wildlife conservation and management
